Grand Junction for the weekend with the Holbie crew.  I felt like it was a good weekend to get out.  

Jon grew up in Grand Junction/Durango and had the lines at "Lunch Loops" pretty dialed 

Lunch loops is often overlooked for Fruita or Moab, but the truth is that it has probably some of the best trails in the world.  

Rolling with a big crew is not the best way to cover miles.  On the contary is is a great way to push your skill set.  Stopping and trying to ride a line is the best way to get better on a mountain bike.  Rolling with a big crew is also great when steiny's truck is loaded with beer and sandwich fixins for a recharge.

A lot of locals wear knee pads, which is a good idea for the abrasive desert
