Glaciers to Desert

I don't update my personal blog much, in fact I may delete it.  Anywho increasingly freakishly warm fall temps.... well boulderites love it.... I hate it, if I might say. I guess I can't complain, it sure is nice out.  Me though, I am selfish.  I want it to snow, well, snow a SHIT ton.  Because yes, I LOVE winter.  So I can migrate North if I want to ski the rest of my life, but that is a matter of selfishness.  Areas such as Bangladesh actually have their livelihood threatened.  So I'll stop my bitching about the fact that it is close to solstice and is 70 degrees.  I'll bitch in the summer when it is 105 F.

Anywho it was a great weekend with some mtb's and ski's.  This weekend it is Moab, desert riding for Mike's B-day.  Should be a good time.  Still can't believe we found good snow this weekend.. blows my mind.

I can't believe this bowl was a 40 min. drive, well and a 4 hr. hike away from the heated desert land of Boulder.  Just can't beat the diversity around here.  I can ride my bike through snow in an alpine envirn, and descend into a cactus patch, oh and flat.  Back to my deliveries in this summer weather!  Well I suppose it will shift tomorrow to freezing rain.

cheers!

Chris

Awesome shot!

Chris,
You're thinking of taking down the blog? Why don't you use this personal space to showcase your art? It ends the pressure of trying to post 5x a week, but gives you a great place to put up some of your handiwork.
