Starting to really enjoy the desert
There are a lot of similarities between the desert and the alpine. They are both incredibly harsh environments, and this contributes to their beauty.

When I moved to Crested Butte I thought it was the end, but its really just the beginning. There is a lot to see/experience out there. The Western Slope is a gateway for the eyes can peer hundreds of miles to the West towards Utah or South towards the San Juan Mountains.
