I'm a Ned mtb rider who rides a Fatback snowbike all winter long. Just a couple of suggestions - Pogies will go a long way toward keeping your hands warm. And, I adore my winter cycling shoes (Lakes). Unfortunately, they're expensive (but I buy them in the spring on sale) and they're heavy. But, they're the only cycling shoe that keeps my feet warm.
I love your photos and stories so I've been following your blog for a while.
